Can I Fly International With A Cricket Bat Sticking Out Of My Suitcase?

18 November 2009 8 Comments

The handle of my cricket bat won’t fit in the suitcase. Can I zip the case and have about 5 inches sticking out?

send it seperate from the suitcase, or better yet, buy one when you get there and donate it to a community centre when you leave! if you can afford to fly you can afford a 20 buck bat!!

No they do not allow you to carry a cricket bat especially when your fly international…if they find anything suspicious they will make you open up your suitcase also…you can wrap up your bat in plastic which they provide in the airport and let it go along with your luggage….i think they should allow that atleast….

Not in your carry-on, but in your checked luggage it’s probably fine. However, you might want to think about the possibility of it being damaged during the flight.

No you can’t do that. wrap the bat seperately in a platic sheet and and take it as checkin baggage
