Can I Get A Cricket Cell And Have My Business Landline Number Transfered To That Phone?

31 December 2009 One Comment

I work for a company that has had the same phone number for 30 years. The owner wants me to get a cell phone and get the phone number transfered to that cell. Does cricket do that from Verizon Landline Business phone service?

Question: Is the business going out of business at the land location?
Once you do that, the land line is dead. Nobody at the business (land) location can answer the land line phone because, that line will be dead unless the land line gets a new telephone number.
There is an alternative that would allow the phones at both locations function. As far as I understand, this option requires Verizon cell phone service. Typically, it would ring one line after the other does not answer so many rings. Ask Verizion for details. This possibility has different names in different parts of the country.
Whatever you do, do so with great caution procedurally speaking.
