Can You Hook Up Cricket Broadband Usb Modem To Ps3 For Online Play?

24 February 2010 58 views One Comment

I have a Cricket Wireless Broadband USB modem (UM100c..I believe it is). Can I share the connection to use it to do online gaming or even to do necessary updates or download files onto it? If so, could someone please posts steps on how to do this? It would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not 100% certain, because it may use special login details or even special software, but if you use a “Wireless Print Server” which is essentially just a USB port which creates a wireless network.
You can then use a PC to set up the USB modem as normal, which will then create a wireless network that the PS3 is capable of connect to.
