Hi guys I have my first game of the season on Saturday
Can anybody give me any tips please
Info:
I am a Fast bowler who knows how to inswing and outswing
I am a defensive and attacking batsman
And I am a fielder at square leg or long leg

Keep your bowling arm close to your ear, look at the batsman’s feet & with your leading arm, reach for the sky, that arm should now be across your right eye , form a window with that arm & look through the window, pull the arm down hard to your left side as you deliver, Always follow through to half way down the pitch.
If your batting on turf, point your toe at the ball, practice it, imagine where the ball pitches( offside, straight or onside) your toe will dicate the direction in which the ball will travel after you hit it, if the ball lands in the first half of the pitch it a back foot shot, pitched up to you it forward foot which must be played in the V. ( mid on to mid off )
Ps. Get the cement out of your shoes, 50% of shot making is foot work.
try to pitch the ball in the on the batsman’s offside.pitch the ball just before the middle of the pitch.vary your pace.bowl a few balls slowly and then bowl a fast one etc.if you are a fielder for square leg just relax and be ready in a running position because if the ball is flicked/hooked/pulled/glanced it it will go near your area.i repeat this is very important”hit the ball in the gaps”.time the ball.lift your bat when the ball pitches.
good luck for your game.
may the force be with you.
please forgive me for my grammatical mistakes
when batting try to play every ball as it is bowled. don’t try to drive a ball that is short. you must know where you stumps are, don’t get bowled, that the silliest wicket you can give. when you bowl you must know you you won’t take a wicket every delivery you bowl. but be aggressive and don’t give away runs frequently
try to stay calm at the crease and dont go into playing your shots during the first few balls, when bowling dont try to do too much everyball concentrate on bowling a certin delivery until u get it right, fielding just been on ur toes isnt a bad postion
play the game and keep ur mind cooooooool during the game.and give ur 100%.good luck.
Can you play for Australia we need some1 who can swing the ball consistently.
u have to play slowly on the field otherwise don’t get nervous or rush ur self Dhoni also do like that u know.
When you are batting,Don’t try to hit every ball that you are facing as per your wish play as per the ball that has been delivering for you.for example if the ball is coming out side of the off stump don’t try to hit that in leg side try to hit that off side, or at mid off,or at long off. Then when you are bowling don’t try to bowl a same kind of deliveries to the batsmen who is facing your bowling and that too you know that both outswing and inswing so that you can bowl different kind of deliveries in an over.
bowl full, outside off stump….. as you relax, you can bring it in towards the stumps.
don’t worry too much about your action or run up…… just bowl as fast as you can, while you can.
keep your eye on the ball…… batting/bowling/and fielding. it’s the most important thing!
when you’re fielding, you should be wanting the ball to come to you…… so get ready and attack the ball, then fling it in fast and accurate.
when you take a catch, get into a great position as quick as you can, relax your hands and then take it with your chest/belly behind the ball.
lastly, cricket is a team sport…. so do everything your captain says without a 2nd thought, and try to have fun and support the boys in every way you can!
(ie: be a team player before/during/and after the game)
good luck
