Has Anybody Tried The New Cell Phone Provider Giving Unlimited Minutes Called Cricket? How Is Their Service?

Wondering how the new Company called Cricket is? I’m thinking of switching because of the low cost and unlimited minutes. Is the service good? Do you drop calls ect.? Tell me your honest opnion.
I have a friend that uses them. If they go out of the coverage area, they are totally unreachable until they return to that area. But, so long as they remain in their coverage/home area the service is great.
