How Do I Kill A Cricket In My Air Conditioner?

30 October 2009 2 Comments

There is a cricket that is extremely loud inside my air conditioner on the second floor. I can bang on it and it’ll stop for 5 seconds, and if I turn it on he’ll stop. But he’ll always start back up again. Any solutions?

Spray some bug spray in your return duct/register with the unit on. You need to remove the filter first. It gets any bugs in the air stream of the entire system. Your house won’t smell so great for a bit but in will dissipate.

    Pour boiling water over it.
