Yes (jkwalker) is correct Cricket is a CDMA carrier and to make any CDMA phones work with them you’ll need to get the phone flashed, Unlocking applies to GSM phones (using Simcards) and Cricket dont use simcards they are CDMA!!!

You don’t hack phones to work on other networks, you unlock them. You can take the phone along to a local phone shop or market and ask them to do it for you. There will more than likely be a small fee for them to do it.

First the cell phone has to be a CDMA not GSM. You can go on ebay and type in Cricket Flash under Cell Phones and there is a seller on there who can flash your cell phone to make is usable with Cricket’s Wireless Service.
