How Do You Get A Cricket To Stop That Annoying Chirpping?

i cant sleep because there is a cricket in my bedroom making all kind of noise. i cant find the darn thing…..ahhhhhh! how do i make it stop?

    If you wee oriental this would be a good thing.
    the chirpping is both a mating call and a tempeture indicator. so there are only two ways to stop it quickly . one is to make a roach type trap that will let you rellease the insect back outside. or spray your rom with insectaside to kill it. or wait for it to run its lifecycle and die of natural causes.

    You can’t make it stop unless you find it and remove it. Crickets really chirp a lot if it’s going to be a dry spell. So hope you don’t hear a cricket in your room when it’s you aren’t having rain because if you don’t find it, it will never shut up. Usually, if you are very quiet you can track the sound of it under something and usually hard to reach. But keep listening and you’ll eventually determine it’s hiding place!!

    ive had a simillar problem in the past. check around the celling for a tiny moth like bug. they sound just like crickets i thought a cricket was in my room but found out it was that. KILL IT

    Get a cat…mine eats cricketts thats how she got her name I had some annoying me in my house when she was a kitten and I couldnt find them but she did and ate em all!!! Never had one in here since!!
