Thanks to this forum I have learnt much from fellow cricket tragics around the world and have a deeper understanding of my fellow man.

lol…I seriously hope no-one is trying to learn about other cultures by taking any notice of what’s said in the cricket section! That would be a very quick way to learn a lot of very inaccurate information about other countries and cultures.
☺♠♫BhEjAfrY♫ is right when he says that you can’t learn about another culture via an internet forum, (especially a site like this). On some sites, where people treat each other with respect, you can learn more, but there are some ignorant people on this site (on both sides), talking about things they have no idea about. They look for the worst possible things about the other country, past or present, and pretend that those things are the normal way of life there.
So…I’d love to be able to say that the cricket section has deepened my understanding of other cultures…..but I definitely can’t say that. What I can say is that the cricket section is, to some extent, a reflection of real life. Most of the people you meet are good people, but there are some very mentally sick people as well. Unfortunately, because the bad users on here use so many names each, it appears that there are a LOT of bad users here, when it’s actually only a couple of people.

I have gained some more knowledge about Australia, which was actually unneeded when I think about it.
I have also learnt some behavioral patterns of human psychology under provoking and emotions triggering circumstances.
I have also learnt how obsessions can change your priorities.
I have ALSO learnt how hatred can beat love.
PS: I have learnt how a cricket topic can be diverted and twisted into communal discrimination.
    All thanks to cricket section.

It has only helped in gaining knowledge about Cricket.Have you not been aware that Indians and Australians have been dissing each others here?
When you visit this section regularly you will see that questions based on Cricket are not as common as one would expect. It is more of racism among Indians and Australians over here.

Good question actually. There is no such opinion over here, this section once was fully flooded with Cricket questions, but now most questions were asked about the users,fo ex:Australians often abuse Indians by saying that Child-marriages are often held in India! Then Indians say to them that:Australia has more ABORIGINALS and tribes than any other country in the world!

Yes I’ve learned a lot about Australia after becoming a regular member here. Mostly its about their criminal lineage and their culture that is they say aggression is in their culture because they are born when their mothers were either single or was just unmarried.

I have learnt one thing here. No matter how much you try, there will always be miscreants who spread racism everywhere they go.

I have learned that India deserves it’s classification as a third world country.
