What is their win/draw/loss ratio when playing test cricket at home?

    by series since entering test cricket India have lost 14 series on home soil.
    Against Australia they ahve only lost one series at home since 1969.

    In the last 20 years or so, India have lost two series: one to SA and the other recently to Australia.

    India have played 61 home series, winning 29, drawing 16 and losing 16.
    Those 16 lost series breakdown to 5 at the hands of the West Indies, 4 by Australia and England, 2 by Pakistan and 1 by South Africa.
    India’s last home series defeat came against Australia four years ago.
    Stats for Tests:
    India have played 214 home Tests, winning 64, drawing 101, losing 48 with 1 tie.
    Those 48 lost matches breakdown to 14 by the West Indies, 12 by Australia, 11 by England, 5 by Pakistan, 4 by South Africa and 2 by New Zealand.
    India’s last home defeat came in April when South Africa won in Ahmedabad.
