But always remember that it chirps faster at higher temperatures and slower at low temps. The song of the House Cricket may become a fast trill when the temperature gets above 85 degrees Fahrenheit or so, for unknown reason.</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t believe anyone has ever actually counted.  But a House Cricket chirps continuously when looking for a mate, or when it is hungry, or when it senses danger.  It&#039;s body is sensitive to vibrations, and chirps LESS during thunder storms, etc.</description>
