How much does cricket cell phone service cost to start? i am getting the 40 dollar plan. do i just have to pay the first months bill or can i just have my phone flashed overand they will set me up?
I just bought a Cricket phone off Ebay. It was already flashed over to the Cricket service and had been used on Cricket before. So I bought the phone & paid for the service and that was it. They didn’t charge me an activation fee. But yea, you can just have your phone flashed ($20-35; Cricket won’t flash a phone for you) and then they will set you up. You gotta remember sometimes a flashed phone may not be able to do everything thing that comes with your plan. A friend flashed his phone and now the battery only holds a charge for a couple of hours. So when you flash your phone it may not act like it did before it was flashed.
