How To Score Runs In Cricket If You Are Short!!?

I play district cricket, but want to get up to County level. I am a wicket keeper batsman but i am quite short. I wanted to know if anyone can help me. Any tips on scoring runs if you are short

    Alan Lamb wasn’t very tall, but he scored plenty of runs. Come to that, Ricky Ponting is quite short, too. Height needn’t be an issue for a batsman. Just work on your technique and footwork. Try to get forward onto the front foot to quicker bowling and take the ball on the up (as long as the wicket keeper isn’t standing up to the stumps, of course).
