I Am Interested To Know That How The Cricket Scores Are Updated On Different Websites?

22 December 2009 60 views 4 Comments

I have been to many websites that display live cricket scores. Can any tell me that how these updates are done? Is there any specific software that people who broadcast will use?
Any response will be greately appreciated.

i think currently score card is done manually by individuals keying in data by watching it in the TV. Only very few makes these content. These people in turn sell these to websites and TV channels who show the same on TV or web sites. Some websites even provide these content free to other websites but with a link back to their websites.
The company having the television rights are planning to sell these rights and in turn content to other companies who place the highest bid. Then we wont be in a position to check the scores on any web site or TV. Then there will be only few providers of score cards.
Till then we can be happy.
