Is It Cheaper To Start A Cricket Farm Then It Is To Keep Buying Them?

I’m tired of running out to buy crickets for my gecko’s then they don’t last that long. So is it cheaper to start a cricket farm?

It’s much cheaper to keep crickets.
Like another poster said, they are very loud, and they’re escape artists.
They don’t take much for survival, I give mine Fluker’s for water, and oats/cat food/fresh fruit for food. I keep mine in a 10g fish tank with a lid, and sand in the bottom.

If you want crickets all around your house. Than go for it. Crickets are impossible to keep confined. They are smart about getting out. They aren’t hard to breed. And are pretty cheap to breed. But they reproduce fast and are very loud.

It might costs a bit(assuming you have nothing for them) to start with the tank and all, but yes in the end it’ll be cheaper.
