It’s down to the final two. The 2008 New Building Society Challenge second-division limited overs cricket competition, commenced with over 100 teams from practically all of the geographical zones of Berbice. The competition will climax with final today at the Blairmont Community Development Centre ground, West Berbice. It is a fitting venue as the two teams vying for supremacy, Hopetown and De Edward are both from West Berbice, a first for any Berbice-wide competition organised by the Berbice Cricket Board.

By Anthony Dunn. Guide It’s a short few steps from the hotel through the hutong to the cricket-house Stop staring                   it’s just the old guy’s home and though it’s all done up like New Year with homespun strings of wicker baubles it’s a hole and no doubt                                     given wings he’d airlift himself up out of it heading west along the flyover that dots and dashes for miles                                             and stops mid-air somewhere

I used this as my inspiration. I used the color scheme and placement of flowers and leaves. And did a layout like this: It is a photo of my breast pump! LOL! I had gone through a lot with it and have a love-hate relationship with it. I have always wanted to journal about it and this was the push I needed! Journalling: Avent pump had a love-hate relationship with her owner. She followed her owner to & from work, to & from her owner’s parent’s home. She worked very, vey hard.

News courtesy-Times of India HYDERABAD: In a controversial move, the state government on Friday introduced a bill to amend the AP Societies Registration Act 2001 on Friday. While the government said that the act was being amended to prevent mismanagement or improper governance of societies and associations registered under the act and to control the administration as an interim measure, the opposition parties strongly opposed it on the grounds that the move was against the constitution and that the assembly does not have powers to amend it.

Worry warts, people. Are they warts caused by excessive worrying? Are they normal warts that the worrisome types tend to obsess about? Or are they warts themselves that have, somehow, become self-aware and developed their own innate ability to worry ? I don’t mind admitting that the confusion about the entire issue of worry warts has me a little worried. And I have the warts to prove it. Oh, no. Wait. They’re not warts. They’re just the mysterious throbbing puss-filled growths from where that mutated, undead half man-half skink alien creature bit me that time.

Coach Intikhab Alam restrained from predicting Pakistan’s prospects in the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy, but admitted Australia and India are going to be the biggest threats for his team. ‘I would not like to make any claim or prediction because there is nothing much to separate the eight teams taking part in the tournament. I can say this much we are perfectly capable of winning the title like we did in the World Twenty20 in England.

Pakistan cricket team captain Younis Khan said that Pakistan can qualify for the semi-finals in the Champions Trophy. In an interview  Younis Khan said that if we play on our basis then we have a very good chance and we can reach the semi-finals. Replying to a question on bowling, he said that we are taking five pace bowlers.
