New Delhi: The 6UP runs-per-over sms game, which created a furore during the Indian Premier League -II earlier this year, was re-launched at the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa on Saturday. The game, in which mobile users anywhere in India can participate by predicting the outcome of all the six deliveries of an over, commences during the high-octane encounter between India and Pakistan in Centurion on Saturday, stated a release from iPlayup, the company which operates the game.

Dashing India opener Virender Sehwag exuded confidence that he would be fully fit for the seven-match one-day international series at home against Australia, commencing in Baroda on October 25. “I am not yet fit for international cricket as I can’t throw (the ball) from the boundary line. International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday called up Pakistan fast-bowler for a surprise dope test on the first day of his training with the team. Asif completed a 12-month ban for a doping offence on Wednesday. He had joined the team on Sunday and returned to the national side after a gap of nearly 17 months because of disciplinary and dope issues. ‘Asif has been taken for a dope test by the ICC and it is nothing out of the ordinary but in keeping with the governing body’s doping procedures at all such tournaments,’ said an official spokesman.
