Ok, so I’ve been to MANY places from New York to Los Angeles, and I haven’t seen a single person play either soccer or cricket. I don’t know who plays them. So something occurred to me: should the president of the USA ban soccer and cricket all over the world? It makes sense. It has zero popularity. Football, baseball, and basketball are probably famous world-wide. Everyone plays them.
the US president cant do anything that does not take place in the united states. it would be the united nations that puts an international ban on things. but theyre busy worrying about drug and sex trafficking, genocide, and suicide bombers.
I guess this is a joke question. In case it’s not, football around most of the world is association football, played with 11 people per team and a round ball. The president of the USA could not ban anything worldwide, he’s not president of the world. You say that soccer (by which you probably mean football) and cricket have zero popularity. If this were true then there would be no point in a ban as nobody would play them. Equally, it is manifestly not true that everyone plays American football, baseball or basketball – they’re mainly played in the USA. Many people have never played any of them.

Secondly football ( soccer ) is the most popular sport in the world played in every country ( at least I’ve never heard of one where it’s not played ) . Cricket is played on at least four continents and is the most popular sport in southern Asia .
Outside of North America virtually no body plays American football or baseball .

Football (the kind that actually uses feet) is huge around the globe. The World Cup screws up the economy in quite a few countries when it’s running, because no one is worrying about work.
