i was actually kind of proud of myself, staying in on friday night to eat and saturday afternoon to eat. firstly, save money. secondly, i actually stayed at home! wow. saturday was actually our 11th month anniversary , so we went to this japanese ala carte buffet, hanabi (at katong mall) to eat. there are 3 branches in singapore if i’m not wrong, and i’ve only been to the one at bukit timah before. the spread of food is quite diverse but it’s a pity because alot of which we don’t really eat, thus we were confined to a small selection.

It’s been a crazy week. There’s been another MMA media blip just recently, that I seem to have got caught up in. It started out with a phone call from a nice Daily Mail journalist last week ( article here ). MMA purists have criticized the article, but personally I was pleasantly surprised. The DM isn’t my usual reading material, and I’ll admit I was expecting the usual “this is outrageous, it should be banned!” comment. Sure, it’s a bit tongue in cheek, and he does insist on calling the sport “cagefighting”, but the tone of the article seemed to be “MMA has arrived.
