I would go for someone like Mark Ramprakash or Graeme Hick ~ both so profilic in first-class cricket yet didn’t really perform for England.

I don’t think that the locals there are into cricket, but we have things like the Sharjah Cup and often use it as a neutral venue. How did this come about?
