What are indian women so interested in cricket matches? I am not talking about Mandira Bedi’s stupid rants or her flashy sarees. It was happening before that also and today also most women including myself are as much interested in cricket matches as their husbands. They watch the game itself (and not the pre-match shows) and even know a thing or two. This applies to many women but not all.
Does cricket have some sort of a global appeal that other games don’t have?
