verizon or sprint. but instead of buying an expensive phone, cud i use a prepaid phone from either company and switch it to cricket?

Do you need to be over 18 years old to get a phone from Cricket? You don’t sign no contracts or credit checks so wouldn’t a teen be able to get a Cricket phone without a parent or someone over 18?
