I personally think England were too cautious and the bowling display by the england bowlers was not up to standard. But perhaps I am being a bit harsh, as in many instances they were simply unlucky.
On another note, do you think Trescothick should come out of retirements. I think he was/is one of the best openers in cricket, and I think England have really suffered without him. He was probably my favourite of English batsmen in modern years

Cricket has taught me to be patient and hopeful. There’s a new day after each failure. You lose, you stand up and try again.
India lost badly in T20 WC but then we see a victory in Windies bring delight for the fans again.
.
And there’s Mohammad Yousuf who seemed to have it all over for him during the ICL disputes but here he is in the spotlight again making a great comeback with a knock of 112 against SL.

Yes! The T20 format will attract many more eyeballs for the game in the coming days.
No! True cricket lovers would still want to be tuned into Test cricket.
Who cares! The IPL will take some time to spread its tentacles.

M.S Dhoni the India Cricket team captain was saying the reason he played badly in the 20/20 cup was that his criket bat had woodworm and he only noticed it after the England game. Do you agree or accept his excuse?

I am not an Indian and was horrified by the reaction of the Indian Cricket fans after their defeat in the hands of Sri Lanka. I know the Indians adore their cricketers but how can the players become encouraged after their fans burnt the pictures of their players, stoned and broke down thir houses? I love Indian cricket and the players in this world cup were having a really bad time. England – the birth place of cricket has never won any ICC trophy yet. Youngsters in england want to be like David Backhaem or wayne roonie but not like Andrew flintoff or Michael Vaughn. When you see jam packed stadium when matches held in india, south africa or australia and when you see empty stands in england which is the birth place of cricket, you can easily make out the difference. What could be the reason behind it?
