What Are The Steps To Be Taken By Bcci To Improve The Indian Cricket?

Your ideas for one day cricket could lead for betterment of Indian cricket especially against Australia & other countries during the forthcoming series.
For twenty20 you don’t need to give any ideas since Indian cricket team is World’s No.1 team in twenty20 World Cup.

Hai will they take my advise if so this is my suggestion.
1. Pay a player based on his performance in that particular match i mean let them earn it the hard way. See anything earned in the hard way is always futile and enjoyable.
2. Do not give a player more than 2 or 3 matches conscutively to prove themselves and if they are not able to perform in the 3 chances remove him from the team and ask them to prove themselves in the domestic level and come back.
3. Do not rate a player by his performances against weak teams. Always rate a player my his performance against strong teams like Australia and South Africa.
4. Rate a player by his ability to play in all conditions i mean the players ability to adjust to pitch conditions. A good player must be able to adjust his batting grease position according to pitch conditions, this i hope you can learn from the Australians.
5. Do not keep a player for only bowling a good line and length alone, if you want to win we need wicket taking bowlers and not line and length bowlers.
6. If a player is not performing consistently cut his match fee for his poor performance and let that money be used for some welfare activities like helping the poor children etc.
7. Do not allow a player to be influenced by media if he gives a better performance in one match. I think they get carried away by the media flattery.
8. Give them mental fitness and physical fitness exercises so that are mentally perpared to face any team in the world.
9. Better hypnotise them before a match so that they will perform well in the match and they will never fear any team. Is there any hypnotist who can help indian team.
Hai this is for now other tips will follow once the BCCI implements these ideas. See i am not interested in giving free advise to BCCI. Is the BCCI doing everything free. That is for now.
I think nobody can come up with ideas which would change prospects of Indian team in the forthcomoing series. This is a long process and it will take time before we are on equal footings with the likes of Australia. The average age of Australian team is more than any other team’s except South Africa and it answers most of the questions. We have often heard our captains saying that the team is in the learning stage and that the boys are still young! If our national team is still in the learning stage and is waiting for the boys to get older and mature than what is the Domestic cricket for? It is only now that Tendulkar does not have records in mind while playing otherwise what is the logic behind being slow and nervous in the nineties? There are some other things than nation in mind while they are actually playing for the country. Ausies never poke in youngers in the team. The likes of Hayden, Symonds, Hussies due to their old age know well how to handle the pressure as they have no reords to make or break . They only have the interest of the team in mind and as thety have played lesser matches they have the energy as well in them to perform. In case of India the players are in the field for ten to fifteen years and hardly have enrgy to cope up with pressure cooker like situations. So as long as personal records are kept in sight or tendecy to save energy for next matches is there in Indian players no one on this Indian earth should ever hope to equal the Kangaroos-the latter have short life so they sprint fast.
the foremost thing which the bcci need to do is to stop paying them too much ,and as tey win the match dont take them at the apex like the way in 20-20.another thing is to stop them from advertising since they already get too much so they r least bothered about their performance
none…
they are still on stepping stones
See there is absolutely no lack of talent in the country, only problem is the difference in the standard of domestic cricket in India and the international events.
A new comer in the national squad suddenly finds himself on a stage where every single individual/ media in the country is focussing on him and scrutinising his every action on the field. This creates enormous amount of pressure on him to perform. Not only the new comer, even the established players also goes thru the same type of mental pressure due to high expections.
In my opinion there is no short term measure to improve the situation, infact BCCI need to strenghten the domestic circuit at first. There should be proper format for all types of cricket in domestic circuit (ie limited over game , Ranji, 20-20 etc.). This would attract the public, media and sponsores towards those domestic games. That would lead to nourish a player right from his early days to cope up with pressure at the international level.
I think launcing of ICL and IPL is the best thing that could have happend in the country to raise the standard of domestic cricket in India. With increasd participation of national players plus involvement of overseas players on those games will definetly be a good exposure to the grooming talent in India. Infact we will have to work from the ground level right from the begining to give a squad which would be one of the best in the world.
Wait for the good time to come. Only fresher to be trained.
The measure is to send senior players out, will be a good decission ,but BCCI will not do,the same wine in the old bottle itself. We are the Eleven thousand fools ,whom the B.Shah have stated.
make pactice compalsary for all PLAYERS,make them run fast between the wicket, train them for LAZIM,to improve their footwork, keep watch on performance,no matter senior or junior, keep them awy from night parties and PRESS.make a point to give chance to atleast one new player in every match.
hi,
ithink they should change their own way of thinking and administration.
I agree with asha !!
Apart from this they should give chance to new ones and train them. There’s loads of talent available in India !!!!!
They should not be corrupt. That is the main step.
