First of all people were dreaming India to bring the world cup. While there is nothing wrong in expecting even the impossisbles, one should understand that India were far below in rankings in International Cricket and as such expecting India to win the world cup by defeating all other top ranked teams in the world was asking for too much. I strongly feel that public and media should leave the player alone to perform instead of praising them lavishly when the perform well in one or two matches and attacking them when they fail. One should understand that when a player fails to perform he will be the person most hurt and hence attacking him for his failure is adding salt to wound..
