I recently moved into a rental house; shortly after moving in I realized that there is a serious cave cricket problem. I’ve tried just squishing all that I see but these things creep me out and killing them one by one is not working. It seems like it’s getting worse, they’re coming up from the basement. ICK!!!!
Use Raid foggers, one in each room, and several in the basement. You’ll have to remove any pets for about 4 hours while the foggers do their work, but the foggers leave no residue and they’ll kill darned near any kind of bug. They kill roaches, so they ought to take care of crickets.
Get a tarantula and let it lose in your basement.
