We do this because we actually have backyards to play in, and don't have to resort to playing in the streets of Mumbai ;-) Over the fence - 6 & out. I don't think you'll get an "A" on that speech. Perhaps you should speak more about the backyard nature of Australians...They BBQ a lot, spend a lot of time outside, I'm sure they play cricket in the backyard, but I'd bet any Aussie would rather be down at the nets or on a pitch? Australian identity isn't about backyard cricket. There sure would be lots of broken windows. If you are trying to be persuasive, talk about something you have passion about.
