Would A Blackberry Pearl Work On A Cricket Phone Plan?

I am switching to Cricket soon and a friend of mine has offered to give me his old Blackberry. Will I be able to use this phone on Cricket? If so, how?

    Long as it is a ccna phone like an old verizon or sprint phone you can get those flashed to cricket.
